YOGA FOR YOUR PREGNANCY
pregnancy yoga & active birth online
A nurturing community for you during your pregnancy, here you will feel nourished while also preparing for the birth of your baby and motherhood
an embodied pregnancy
The practice of yoga in pregnancy as a moving meditation is powerful, you will feel more able to listen in & trust in, your body’s innate wisdom.
As you connect more to your changing pregnant body & emotions you will also begin to feel a growing connection to your baby in utero, which prepares you both their transition from womb to world and yours into motherhood.
My style of teaching pregnancy yoga has developed and evolved over the last 30 years, I interweave body and breath awareness with the philosophy of active birth in such away that you can embody this within you. Preparing in this way will help you feel more at ease within yourself and more confident as you look towards the birth of your baby.

Five elements that will help prepare you for birth.
understanding | awakening | simplicity | wellbeing | embodiment
You will learn about the changes pregnancy brings, through listening to and connecting to ones changing body. Develop simple and sustainable practices, for your wellbeing, and finally integrate everything into a confident preparation for birth and motherhood. This structure supports not only physical comfort but also emotional resilience, self-awareness, and empowerment throughout your pregnancy.
understanding:
By introducing Active Birth principles and exploring pelvic anatomy, you gain a better understanding of how your body adapts for birth. Learning about the influence of hormones can also help normalise changing emotions
Your pelvic anatomy and its role in birth.

Connection to your changing body.
The ability to let go of physical tension and discomfort.

Stronger connection with baby and self.
Holistic preparation for labour, birth, and motherhood.
“Good news I had a beautiful baby boy yesterday! No birth centre for us due to circumstances but I still used all what I discovered in our sessions, my yoga and breath got me though with just a little gas & air. I know that all I’ve done with you Lynn since the very beginning has helped me mentally, emotionally and physically through this. A huge thank you!”

It takes at the very least six months for your body to recover from pregnancy and childbirth, and for many it will take longer.
During this time you need to be careful how you exercise. My classes are designed specifically to help your body regain strength and tone in a safe and effective way, alongside your developing baby.
