Empower parents. Support babies. Deepen your practice.
Womb to World
Baby Massage Training
When I first began offering postpartum trainings back in 2015, I was inspired by the magic I saw every day: new parents discovering the incredible power of touch, and babies thriving in response.
Each training is a chance to revisit this work, explore new ways to share with you over 30 years of teaching experience and 35 years of mothering, I bring both professional insight and lived experience to every training I run. I offer two immersive 3-day modules designed for those supporting new mothers and babies:
Womb to World – Baby Massage Training (detailed on this page), learn practical skills and a holistic approach to supporting newborn babies & parents.
Mother Love – Postpartum Wellbeing, focusing in on nurturing and supporting new m(other)s.
Womb to World Training Days provide valuable skills and insights for anyone wanting to, or already working in, the field of supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and into motherhood.
In this training, we explore baby massage and the power of touch, which is equally important for parents as it is for babies. We’ll explore how to facilitate safe, nurturing spaces that honour and hold both mother and baby.
Baby massage is a wonderful way to extend and develop your work, helping new families build strong bonds with their baby from the very beginning. The information and guidance shared empower parents to make confident, informed choices.
Come and deepen your skills, expand your knowledge, and connect with like-minded women.
I’m delighted to share my passion and knowledge, drawn from over 30 years of experience as a mother and space-holder for m(others).
I look forward to welcoming you.

IS THIS TRAINING FOR YOU?
Yes if you work with families in the perinatal period, as a yoga teacher, doula, antenatal teacher, midwife, or massage therapist—generally, all who support women in the perinatal period. This training will inform and enrich your work with expecting parents and new mothers in both one-to-one and group settings.
Held over three weeks, one day a week in an intimate home enviroment in North London. This allows time for reflection and practice in between. A pre-course online meet-up will gives us dedicated space to meet up as a group prior to the first day, space to ask any practical questions, and check what you need to bring before we meet in person.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will develop a range of abilities to support the new mother and baby bonding process. These practical and deceptively simple techniques, building up to baby massage sessions, are designed to support and nurture more relaxed parenting, which in turn helps both mothers and babies to thrive.
We will work practically through the body, as well as through the more usual listening and observation aspects of training. The training will be held in a home environment that allows for more intimacy within the limited group size of eight. This allows each person present to feel seen and heard and to have space to practice the techniques.
I am delighted that my dear friend and colleague Yolande Diver will be present to further support you during our time togethe

Support material
Throughout the sessions we will have space to talk, and to practice how best to interweave elements of touch into your work, that best support the wellbeing of the mum’s and babies you meet face to face and/or online. Starting small we will build into a nourishing, playful and confident massage routine for baby. One that can be used daily, but also looking at how smaller elements of touch can be interweaved into daily life with a baby.
You will be encouraged to use journaling as a tool from signing up through to the final day of training, to observe your insights and realisations along the way. You will also recieve training videos and written material to support what you learn over the 3 days. A certificate of attendance is given for CPD and a Womb to World logo to share on your information.
Coming together as a group, with often varied backgrounds & experiences, enriches the learning experience and you will be invited to join the Mother Nurture Community on completion of the course, a place for support & continued guidance from myself, through monthly supervisions and seasonal gatherings. I am aiming for this to start in 2025.
“Lynn’s course has been a wonderful chance to deepen my understanding and reflect on my work supporting new families and their babies. Over the three days we were encouraged to really explore how we can support in a holistic sense – physically, emotionally and through the information we share. It really allowed me to connect up lots of different areas I had previously had an interest in: touch, breath work, body work and always listening, there were lots of aha moments and it has really enriched my practice as a postnatal doula, a sling consultant and as someone running a postnatal group. Lynn’s wisdom and compassion is so inspiring and the course is delivered in such an open hearted and generous atmosphere. I have really loved learning with her and would highly recommend the course to anyone who is or is thinking of working with new families. Thank you Lynn.”
