Lynn has over 40 years experience of yoga, and 28 years of teaching. She has trained and mentored many to work in the field of supporting women on the journey into motherhood & Beyond. Her workshops are for all women at all stages of life..

Our Bodies Ourselves

Our Bodies, Ourselves' is a space for all women to come together and move mindfully, breathe softly, rest deeply, and share in the joy of being in a circle of women. It gives time (away from responsibilities) to simply be, and to appreciate the pleasure of how doing less can truly be more. It's a place to meet yourself where you are right now, especially during times of hormonal shifts such as within your monthly cycles, the transition from pregnancy into motherhood, or the journey of menopause, including the pre- and post- periods. This is a rich terrain for us to discover new ways to relate to our bodies and ourselves.

Each one of these mini retreats is different, tailored to the needs of the participants and the season. It's a space for those who already practice yoga to delve deeper than we can in a weekly class, and for others to learn more about my approach - an intuitive and fluid form of yoga informed and inspired by somatic practices and the wonderful teachings of Vanda Scaravelli. This therapeutic approach helps rewire your nervous system as you discover how to create healthier patterns by ‘joining up the dots’ within the body, restoring your sense of wellbeing wherever you are in your hormonal journey as a woman.

Each workshop will focus awareness on our cyclical rhythms, including exploration of our pelvic wellbeing and relationship to our pelvic area, including the so-called pelvic floor. This connection within the core leads to a deeper connection to self.

All of this within  a circle of women, over nourishing drinks and a little something to eat we will reflect on and listen to one anothers stories, which will help us build a sense of community. You can choose to engage as much or as little as you wish, in these moments. We will end our time together after sharing with a period of deep rest and relaxation, time to absorb.
