Mother nurture circle
WELLBEING for your postpartum
Are you a new mum? Do you feel isolated, unsure or simply exhausted? Come and sit in a circle of new mothers and feel seen and heard as you hear and see (m)others.
if there are no dates for upcoming circles do drop me a line as I do keep a waitlist for those interested.
I also offer 1:1 sessions in your home.
Mother Nurture developed from a felt need for connection and support during the unique & special time of the early postpartum. Space to support each other in the commonality of motherhood.
During the 4 weeks (10 hours), we will explore movements that help heal and strengthen your body, whilst also providing the space to share your experience in a safe non-judgemental space and connect to your baby through the art of loving, theraputic touch that blossoms into baby massage for young babies.
I’m looking forward to meeting you.

Mother nurture circle
Each week we explore a different theme relating to your journey in early motherhood.
Through supportive yoga, movement & breathwork, you will grow in strength and confidence. Feeling more nourished both physically & emotionally will in turn help you to nourish & nurture your baby.
We will make space to discuss issues relating to your baby, addressing some of these through the simplicity of massage and theraputic touch appropriate for young babies.
Along the way experiences of mothering are shared and deep connections made, as we all begin to see and hear one another, more clearly,
what we will explore
Understanding
Understanding a baby’s journey into the world & developing skills on how to handle your baby confidently, will help baby feel more at ease and give you more confidence in your parenting. We will give special attention to relaxing baby & you from the belly centre and prepare baby for happy tummy time. We will also make space for the transitional journey into motherhood.
awakening
Reawakening your connection to your postpartum body will help you recover physically, we start from your core for true pelvic wellness. Simple movement & breath work will begin the journey of undoing and releasing tension held in the your postpartum body. We will link this with your babies coming into their bodies.
wellbeing
While acknowledging the stresses, strains & impact on your physical, mental & emotional wellbeing in the fourth trimester, discover tools for your daily life as a new mum, including mindful breathing practices that you can incorporate into your day, for you and your baby’s wellbeing. The ability to drop the doing and simply be present with what is, is further enhanced with the use of theraputic touch for baby.
embodiment
A sense of embodiment leads to true wellness for baby & you, Over the weeks we spend together, you will experience the deeping connection to your baby and also begin to feel reconnected to yourself, gradually growing both in strength and confidence. This will leave you feeling nourished physically and emotionally.
There will always be the space to discuss where you are at in your journey as we explore terms such as matrescence, the multi layered languague of motherhood and what it brings up for you.

What mothers Say
A huge thank you for holding us all so beautifully during the course. I loved it so much and felt so supported and reassured throughout. It has also been something I have looked forward to during the week as an anchor and for connection during these early days of motherhood.
— Lyndsay
A massive thank you for these last weeks, it has felt so good to feel connected to others. I have learned so much from you. It’s been a safe place for me to talk about the challenges I’ve faced and it has been very healing to feel the support of the whole group. It was only possible because of you!
— Beth
I will be eternally grateful to Lynn for providing critical advice on regaining pelvic floor strength. After a second vaginal birth which caused a severe cervical prolapse left me extremely weakened, I was struggling to do the pelvic floor exercises required to gain strength and prevent serious problems in the future (including incontinence), even with the support of physiotherapy. Advice from Lynn on breathing techniques in particular has made it possible for me to start doing the exercises properly without the aid of a machine and I now make yoga with Lynn an unmissable part of every week.
