A Day for Women
A one-day immersive workshop exploring the pelvic bowl, pelvic floor, and the whole core through a holistic, embodied approach.
This day weaves together movement, rest, education, and guided exploration—integrating the physical, emotional, and relational aspects of women’s health.
Open to all women with an interest in their pelvic wellbeing, this workshop also welcomes:
Yoga teachers wishing to better support the women in their classes
Therapists working in women’s health
Experienced practitioners wanting to deepen their understanding
Whether you come for personal exploration or professional development, the intention is the same: to cultivate awareness, confidence, and a more connected relationship with the female body.
This day offers a structured but exploratory approach to reconnecting with your body—as women. We will focus in on the pelvic floor and wider core in and around the pelvic bowl.
You will be guided through movement, rest, and reflection, with space to better understand how your body feels and functions. There will be space for personal insight and for exploring movement that builds healthier, more integrated connections within the body.
For many women, there can be a sense of disconnection—or confusion about how to connect—to these muscles. You may be familiar with the pelvic floor through concepts like the bandhas (“locks”) in yoga, or approaches focused on strengthening or striving to be “stronger,” which may not always feel supportive or be the most helpful approach.
But is there another way of relating to these muscles—one that feels more embodied, connected, and easeful?
I believe there is. For over three decades, I have worked with women’s bodies, focusing deeply on the pelvic region and how to support muscles in developing both tonality and functional strength, while also allowing them to remain flexible and at ease when needed—such as during birth.
Sadly, shame often lingers around women’s bodies. Let us cultivate better awareness and deeper understanding of our bodies, ourselves.

“Thank you Lynn for a deeply nourishing and inspiring few days spent garnering your immense wisdom and knowledge on the mother nurture training. It was a deep and humbling journey into the perspective of a new parent, but also the baby as they transition from womb to world. This course serves for a deeper understanding into how to hold space with empathy and compassion whilst offering practical ways to assist new parents find their way, gain confidence and honour their role as a parent. I would highly recommend this training if you already teach postnatal yoga as a way of enhancing your postnatal offerings beyond the asana practice..”

“It was such a true privilege to finally have this incredible opportunity to train with Lynn. She is an exceptionally gifted facilitator whose freedom of spirit, creativity and exquisite use of language, allowed for a unique exploration of motherhood throughout this training. Her vast experience of working with new mothers has furnished her with a profound understanding of their needs and many challenges, as they navigate their way through the greatest transformation of their lives. Over the weeks, Lynn quietly nurtured all participants on the course, in total alignment with their individual needs and personalities. At every opportunity she encouraged the freedom to explore, tapping in at all times to the use of our most accessible resources, those of our senses. As we meandered our way together through the important material covered, we added layer upon layer to the invaluable toolkit we created. The content of the course & support material, so beautifully produced, has been exceptionally helpful in the development of our work as birth workers. An ABSOLUTE MUST for all Birth Workers & Supporters of Women
